"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart"
A little bit about me...
I am an only child and currently completing my final year in a 'Bachelor of Primary Education' at Monash University Churchill.
I have spent two years studying physical education and psychology in depth during my University studies.
I consider myself to be a happy, bubbly person who generally always has a smile on my face and love spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy going places, being creative, drawing and making things, taking photos and spending time at the beach. I attended both a Catholic Primary and Secondary school in Gippsland.
Throughout my schooling, I always tried to be the best I can at everything I do and continue to do so. I received a number of rewards in my schooling, in particular the 'Marcellin Champagnat Medal', numerous diligence/excellence awards, the Italian subject award, and in year 12 won first prize in Victoria's 'Dante Alighieri Poetry Competition in Melbourne'. A number of leadership roles include; being part of the leadership team in high school, the ambassador program at Monash University and recently offered the opportunity to study an honors degree for a distinction average.
I am a current pharmacist assistant and (weekend/weeknight) manager at a local pharmacy where I am currently completing certificate 4 in pharmacy, have received employee of the month twice since working there and been chosen for opportunities to work and assist in other stores.

I have always been one who loves being around children and decided upon wanting to become a teacher from a very young age. I truly value my family and friends and believe that trust, respect and honesty are important aspects in life that I plan to emphasise and implement in my future classroom.
Coming from a Italian background, I have had the opportunity and adventures of travelling overseas numerous times and being lucky to experience going to high school in a small southern Italian school for a few weeks.
I have the ability of speaking, writing, reading and communicating in Italian which I thoroughly enjoy, in addition to this I have been tutoring high school students once a week for the past few years and have had opportunities to develop and teach an Italian unit to a grade 5/6 class.
